WildCare Oklahoma

WildCare Oklahoma is the state’s largest and most comprehensive wildlife rehabilitation center, providing care for thousands of injured, sick, and orphaned wild animals each year. They serve nearly every region of Oklahoma and accept a wide variety of species, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and raptors.

Because Oklahoma has so few rehabilitation options, WildCare often becomes the primary resource for residents who find wildlife in need. Their team provides medical treatment, neonatal care, wound management, and long-term rehabilitation until safe release back into the wild. They also offer guidance over the phone, including how to safely contain or transport an animal when possible.

WildCare operates with limited funding, relies heavily on community donations, and is consistently overwhelmed by the volume of animals needing help. Their work is essential to reducing wildlife suffering, protecting public health, and supporting Oklahoma’s ecosystems.
